La Petite Peach_Links I love Marthas Vineyard

Although I promised myself I would take a ton of day trips to the Island this summer, I just planned (and paid for, ouch) my extended stay on Martha’s Vineyard for the end of July. I am SO excited, I cannot wait to be there, my favorite place in the world. If you are wondering what some of my favorite local gems are, make sure to check this piece I did for Tell New England Magazine. Instead of a weekend round up, plan your summer vacation right NOW! Everyone needs a break and the summer is the best time to do it.

La Petite Peach_Link Love Nantucket

Happy Thursday! I thought I would throw it back to my styling days. It was always about the people that I worked with that made these shoots the most fun. We had such a blast on this Nantucket shoot-two of my all time favorites to work with helped with this one, Leila Brewster shot everything and Ariel Dearie did the florals. Here is a short list of some of my other favorite people to work with in the wedding industry-if you want the long list, well you will have to ask!

Websites: Green Wedding Shoes and Style Me Pretty

Magazine: Geraldine

Photographers: Trent Bailey, Stacey Hedman, First Mate, Lisa Elizabeth, Greer Rivera, Studio Castillero

Florists: Petal, Pollen Floral Design, Siren Floral, and Sayles Livingston

*I never worked with them when I did styling but LOVE their style!

Summer has started early for us because Luke has been out of school since June 3rd! Although I was in a little bit of a panic (activities don’t really start until the end of June), I have to to say that it’s nice not having to do the school hustle every day-you know packing lunches and rushing out the door. The kids sleep in until at least 9, which means I am getting a TON done in the morning and we have a nice (not rushed) family breakfast together.

I love more than anything, going out for a long lunch. Something there is no way I could do with school in session. I would have to get Wesleigh down for a nap not a minute later than 12:30 then wake her up to get Luke at school. Now we can be out and about and take our time. We went to the Brown Jug, a cute cafe the town next to us for some exploring. Wesleigh and I are into the cheese selection-you can read more here.

I would love to know what your excited about when your little ones getting out of school! Comment below!

Wesleigh is wearing clothes from Baby Gap including this romper, shoes, and sweater-sold out but similar here. Thank you to Rebecca Hansen from First Mate Photo for shooting this for us.
