Baby Style/Hand-Me-Downs

With no exaggeration, I have over six huge bins full of Luke’s old clothes from when he was a baby. I don’t have any clothing from when I was growing up that I could pass down to my kids. Therefore, you can imagine that when Luke was born, I went a little overboard saving anything that wasn’t stained for my future children and grandchildren (don’t lie you thought about it too:).

When Wesleigh came along, of course I pulled out all my “gender neutral” goods to wash up and pass down to her. However, some amazing friends gave me some great hand me downs that I just adore. I can’t think of anything nicer than a friend giving you a dress/boots/beach cover up/sweaters that was worn by their own babe.

This sweet little boho babe shirt was given to me for W, by my friend Tanya (to hold onto until she has a babe of her own) that was HERS when she was a baby. I mean seriously so, so, sweet! It went perfectly with these boyfriend jeans from baby gap and Pendleton moccs from blank (see more outfit details below). It’s way too fun mixing new items with these, practically vintage, hand me downs! Plus I can tell my husband that I am “saving money” since half of her wardrobe was given to me. Speaking of hand me downs, this little silver rattle was his when he was a baby and is perfect for teething toddlers.

Thank you so much to Cambria Grace Photography for shooting this for La Petite Peach, and to Alix for lending us her gorgeous space to shoot in <3.
