Baby CZ Opening

The Baby CZ Company opened a new set of doors in the Upper East Side in New York City, the ground floor of 1300 Madison Avenue (situated between 92nd and 93rd streets). We are so happy that we could have been a part of their opening! The wonderful Gina Kim, of Gina Kim Photography, was able to attend in our stead and capture some highlights of the day!

A bit about Baby CZ: The Baby CZ Company was founded by Carolina Zapf in 2002. Inspired by the August 2001 birth of her daughter Lily, Zapf recognized the need for simple yet elegant baby clothes and created a line that is comfortable and complementary to baby with an edited palette in classic colors. Carolina’s philosophy for Baby CZ is that every piece should be designed to enhance a child’s beauty and spirit. Children should look their age and enjoy the clothes they are wearing. [She’s quick to note that children are the toughest critics: if they don’t like something, they won’t wear it!] The intention behind the brand is that these pieces will become treasured keepsakes, handed down for generations. The brand continues to be sold to retailers world-wide, In addition to operating out of two local boutiques: one in Greenwich CT, as well as the newest boutique on Madison Avenue.

Baby CZ on Madison Avenue will carry all the best for children, newborn through 8 years. This boutique features the very best in layette: including the softest Peruvian pima cotton basics, mercerized cotton layette sets, and supple cashmere layette sets with matching blankets. Baby CZ’s newest location on Madison Avenue will continue to offer styles dedicated to providing chic mothers and gift-givers with a style conscious line of high quality clothing.
