La Petite Peach_10 things I am loving this May

I wish I could say it was sunny and warm here in New England, but so far this May is still pretty chilly. I’ve officially started to get out more with the girls while Luke is at school even if it’s windy and bitter. As long as the sun is shining through the clouds every now and then, we can get through a short walk to the beach and back without freezing our buns off. The spring is such a short season here but the flowers are starting to bloom (just a little) and I am getting excited for another summer on Cape Cod. Above is a running list of things I am just loving right now. I think you will like them too! I hope you have a fabulous week and just in case you missed April’s top 10, check it out here.

My hubby is a great sport, and let me dress him for work a few weeks ago. I think guys are intimidated to get their fashion on. They think it requires…the thing they hate the most…shopping! It doesn’t! I literally pulled this look out of the closet, and just paired together a few things that he already owns. Although he did say he would rather die than go to work with rolled up jeans (I think it’s cute no?!) I wanted to show off those super cool shoes.  Do you dress your man before he walks out the door? Tell me all about it, I am dying to know!

Marie Chantal Fall 2016

This is embarrassing to admit, but in 10 years, my hubby and I have NEVER been away for a weekend together since our honeymoon (YIKES)! It’s always hard to leave your little ones behind, but the time has come to take a little vacation!

Since this rarely (or ever) happens I called my favorite travel guru, Katie from Ever After Honeymoons who also plans “babymoons” for couples, and our new baby’s arrival is the perfect excuse to get away. You might recognize Katie because we featured her before (See our past post, on the old blog, Babymoons)

We decided to stay semi-close, and travel to Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, MA. I have been packing for the past week and here is what I settled on. Oh, and don’t forget to follow us on Instagram @lapetitepeach !
