From Anna “Jessie was seven-months-pregnant (entering her eighth) when we took these photos in a local woodlands reserve. They were taken on the first day of Autumn in Auckland, New Zealand. After a long hot and hazy summer, the leaves overnight turned into dusky shades of red, and the air, once warm, now had a familiar wintry chill. It was an overcast day – and it was such a beautiful Autumnal setting to celebrate a winter baby. In some of the photos she wore a vintage wedding dress with intricate lace (the same dress she wore to her engagement party), and it gave such an ethereal element to the photos.”
