La Petite Peach_Links I love San Fran

Tomorrow my family and I are off to San Francisco to see my sister! I have been counting down the days for months and I can’t believe it’s finally here.  Last time we went it was just W and I, she was only 6 months old so this time will be much more exciting. We are also staying right in the city, which will be perfect for exploring. This week’s link round up is all about San Fran…

My tips on toddler travel are over on Boston Day book

SF Girl by the Bay spends some time at Peet’s and so do I…

Tyler Florence’s restaurant is on my San Fran bucket list while I am there…

Found this gem online and I HAVE to go!

This new kids shop is right near my sister’s apartment and I can’t wait to see it!

Love this NY times article about San Fran at night…

Super cool interior design blogger in the city…

Also loving the blog Shop Sweet Things, she lives in San Fran!

La Petite Peach_Sweet Paul Workshop in PA 1

Wesleigh and I traveled to the Terrain HQ to host the kick off brunch for the Sweet Paul workshops! You can see more of our trip to Philly here.  Terrain is the most beautiful places! Green houses, old barns and a shop that I could have spent hours in…

My favorite part was meeting Paul! When I first started La Petite Peach he was one of those bloggers (and digital mag!) that I completely looked up to. Now with a print magazine of his own, he couldn’t be kinder and more cool if he tried. All the workshops were so amazing but I loved the weaving/loom intro, and the terrarium workshop. Such a wonderful weekend, I will most definitely be back!

Thanks so much to Rebecca Hansen from First Mate for shooting this!

This past weekend Wesleigh and I drove down to Philadelphia to co-host the kick off breakfast to the Sweet Paul Magazine, Makerie workshop (more pics to come!).  Thank goodness our friends Rebecca, and Kelly came with us to fully dive into this amazing food scene that I had no idea was present in Philly!  Also, thanks to the delicious recommendations from my college friend Kelly, from Kelly Bakes who lives in the city, we did pretty well in the food department!

I highly recommend going to the Reading Terminal Market! There are a TON of things to do there including EAT! We got delicious crepes and amazing roasted coffee from Old City Coffee. There is also a fabulous little cookbook shop around the corner, and the most quaint flower stand.

For dinner on the first night we were there, we headed a few blocks from our hotel to V Street, a vegetarian joint with a super chic atmosphere. We had the most scrumptious vegetarian meal I have had in a long time. They serve small plates so you can try almost everything on the menu. My favorites are the Piri Piri tofu, which is a spicy and perfectly cooked tofu dish, and the Cauliflower Shawrarma, which is a delicious flat bread with hummus, and cucumber.

I loved Parc Bistro on the second night, for an amazing French meal (see radishes, sea salt and butter above!).  Wesleigh and I shared the fries and they were out of this word!

This is definitely not the last time we will visit Philly! Hopefully we can come back and bring the boys with us. Have you been lately and have any more recommendations? Or do you live there and know some hidden gems? I would love to know about them!
