Have a Wonderful Weekend!
Friday Weekly Round Up, La Partie
This week I am back in the office so I only have one weekly round up for you, but it’s a good one! Yesterday we chatted about natural baby products, did you see it?
I love this film of Little Ava 2nd birthday, sent to us by Whitney from Glass Jar Photography. Is there anything cuter than a little girl in a ballerina outfit?! Here is what Whitney told us about Ava…
“This is Ava James, she turned 2 recently so we photographed her again (we did last year too) and took this video of her playing and having fun. They say terrible two’s, but NO WAY! She’s beyond adorable and sweet…and smart!”

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Sip’n See…
I am in total love with this party put on by Sarah from Lil’ Hoot , and photographed by my friend Heidi, from White Loft Studio. This little one born during Hurricane Irene, needed the perfect weather in order to make his debut!
This party was shot on the Contax 645 + 80mm 2.0 lens
Sarah from the Lil’ Hoot shared this with us…
“When I was approached my by lovely friend/client, Ms. V., about planning a sip & see for a baby born during Hurricane Irene, my wheels started spinning. What a wonderful thing to happen on such a tumultuous day! Something truly to be celebrated. The song ‘You are my Sunshine’ was my inspiration – in particular the line ‘You make me happy, when skies are gray’. I contacted Jayme Marie Designs about designing a unique sun and cloud graphic for the paper goods. We started with the invite, explaining that the family ‘weathered the storm and landed on Cloud 9′. I also wanted to create a keepsake for the family so Jayme designed a poster to serve as the backdrop for the dessert table, which also served as a gift for Jasper’s family from their gracious hosts. We used a glitter banner from unicorn parade that said ‘shine on, jasper’ for an extra eye-catching detail.
Sugar on Top created ‘cloud 9′ cookies with clouds mimicking the invite and the number 9. Pickwick Baking Co. made darling and delicious mint meringue ‘clouds’, chocolate drop mini cupcakes, and the yellow baby cake. The cake had a custom fondant sun, and raindrops, also mimicking the invite. Pickwick Baking Company created savory bites in sun-shaped little tarts.
‘Dark & Stormy’s’ were served as the signature drink {this was Ms. V’s brainchild}, as well as ‘Clear & Sunny’s {champagne and orange juice} in ‘cloudy’ highball glasses, and aqua champagne flutes.
Straw flags read ‘shine on’ and ‘sip & see’.”

Luke’s 7th Birthday Party!
Inspiration, J'Adore, La Partie
I am beyond excited to share this special day with you! My little peach turned 7 this August, and we celebrated with a back yard, family style, party. These gorgeous invites designed by Wiley Valentine , set the mood for the traditional Italian (complete with brick oven pizza, yum!) dinner with family and close friends.
I spray painted these mason jars silver, and filled them with a mix of white plush flowers and wild flowers.
My sister in law…aka Madame Cookie, baked these delish cookies for the cookie bar.
Lukie and his cousins!
The favors are homemade cookie pie’s, in mini mason jars, made by yours truly
Brick oven pizza is the BEST!

A Day in the World of Dr. Seuss
Who doesn’t love Dr. Seuss books?! They are all so imaginative and fun! I go back to my childhood whenever I read my favorites, to my little one. This party, by Heather Equitz Designs, captures so many fun aspects of his books!
How creative is this? It actually scoops you up and throws you into Dr. Seuss’ world!
1950′s Cherry Birthday Party
Art, Crafting, Decoration, Inspiration, La Partie, Photography
I just love this 1950′s cherry birthday party from Lindi Haws. The combination of the light blue and red goes hand-in-hand with the Johnny Rockets decor. I can just imagine myself picking out the music on their cute tabletop jukeboxes!
The Childrensalon
ChildrenSalon was established in 1952, by founder Sybil Harriman, who was born into a family of artists. She started her career sewing clothing for dolls and teddy bears, but once she had started a family, she wanted to create fashions for her own children. We can pretty much guess that they were the best dressed kids in town!
Sybil’s style was coveted and soon she began sewing circles. These sewing circles eventually grew into an idea for a shop. The ChildrenSalon was opened in Tunbridge, Wells 1952.
Due to increased volume, ChildrenSalon began adding new brands, but only choosing the best of the best. In 1999, Children Salon launched their website and can now reach customers all over the world.
Children Salon currently has 220 brands and over 7,000 items. We just love Sybil’s vision for children’s fashion. Check out these LPP faves…more to come Friday!

Baby 001 Party!
Our friend Lisa over at Step Brightly Creative Group was just telling us this summer about her son’s first birthday party she was planning. Of course I told her to take lots of pictures because we know our LPP fans would LOVE it.
Lisa did a James Bond theme but this little one is not 007, he is agent 001! Thanks so much Lisa for sharing.
look at this face! I love it!
