I can’t believe it was almost a year ago when I met Vania and Christine from Simplybloom Photography and Christine was just a few weeks Pregnant. Being pregnant with your first baby is so special and it begins a whole new and exciting chapter in your life!
Since Vania and Christine are such BFF’s it was only fitting that Vania threw a fabulous baby shower in Christine’s honor. Since Vania knew Christine’s little one was was going to be a boy, ( ahh Lennon is SO cute we can’t even deal!) she created this Mommy shower inspired by sky-elements; playful features such as hot air balloons, kites and clouds were used!

Many steps were taken to plan this exciting celebration; it started out as a tablescape plan for the arrangements of desserts. As the months progressed baking elements and tools were gathered and desserts were designed and created to fit perfectly with the theme.
All those in attendance of the shower were encouraged to “fit in” with the theme and were asked to wear peach, seafoam green, pink and cream. As a very intimate group, the Mommy shower was a time for sharing and for many, those who were not mommies, it was a learning experience of the ahem “process!” The most memorable moment was when Christine, the mommy, teared up when she saw the entire design!

Meet Baby Mason!
Our friend Jen from the Pink Polk Dot, recently brought home this bundle of joy and we were so excited when Kate from KML Photography sent these pics over. We love the nautical themed room (it’s so Cape Cod!) and of course that cute little face!
