Babymoon Packing Essentials

This is embarrassing to admit, but in 10 years, my hubby and I have NEVER been away for a weekend together since our honeymoon (YIKES)! It’s always hard to leave your little ones behind, but the time has come to take a little vacation!

Since this rarely (or ever) happens I called my favorite travel guru, Katie from Ever After Honeymoons who also plans “babymoons” for couples, and our new baby’s arrival is the perfect excuse to get away. You might recognize Katie because we featured her before (See our past post, on the old blog, Babymoons)

We decided to stay semi-close, and travel to Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, MA. I have been packing for the past week and here is what I settled on. Oh, and don’t forget to follow us on Instagram @lapetitepeach !

Why do you have to be embarrassed for admitting that you have never been away for a weekend in 10 years? It’s a good thing that you should be proud of! My husband and I have never been away from our kids for more than 4 hours in 6 years! Not that we don’t trust anyone, but we really enjoy the moment we spend time with our kids! It’s a blessing and you should be proud to say it!

I guess I shouldn’t be embarrassed! You are right! There is nothing wrong with wanting to be around with your little ones 🙂
