The fall/winter 2014 collection from Dior is simply stunning. The wool coats with toggles, are you kidding me?! Just so classic, and still current and fresh. I love the Venice theme in this shoot, especially because I fell in love with Dior in Italy. There are so many fall/winter look books that have been rolling out the last few months, and I can’t wait to share them all with you over the next few weeks. It’s still pretty warm here on Cape Cod but there is definitely a crisp fall breeze. Is it starting to feel like fall where you are? Share below, I am dying to hear!
When Wesleigh was born I was determined to just breastfeed her as long as I possibly could. It has definitely been the most amazing bonding experience. However, I waited way, way too long to introduce a bottle (6 months to be exact). I was so nervous that if I did, my supply would run low, and then that would be the end of breastfeeding-a fear I now know most moms have!
This sweet baby decided that she actually HATED (I mean screaming-hated) bottles. I wrote it off as a fluke. I bought all types…and spent a ton of money on failed attempts at getting her to drink from one.
Fast forward to month 9, and I was not any closer than I was 3 months before. A friend mentioned the MunchkinLatch Bottle. My husband begged me not to buy any more bottles. I half-heartedly said it would be my last go. Wesleigh immediately took to the bottle and drank an entire ounce. A small, but exciting victory! We are now up to 4 ounces a day, and I could not be happier. She is successfully breastfeeding, and drinking from the Latch bottle. The reason she loves it is because it functions just like the breast, so it was an easy transition. She latches right on!
If you are having trouble getting your babe to bottle feed, I highly recommend giving the Latch bottle a try! I am so proud that I had to show off my sweet girl enjoying her breakfast…
Step Two: Gather hair in a pony tail at the desired position of the bun. I like them a little higher, so I started this pony tail on top of the crown.Step Three: Wrap hair in a thick elastic. Divide pony tail into two sections.
Step Four: Take a 1/2″ chunk from the outside of one of the two sections. Bring that 1/2″ chunk over the section it came from and add it to the other section.Step Five: Take a 1/2″ chunk from the other section and bring it over to the first section. You will continue to only have two section, not three like in a typical braid.Step Six: Continue taking 1/2″ chunks from the outside of the pony tail and adding it to the opposite section. Pull tightly as you go.Step Six: Once you’ve reached the end of your tail, tie it with the clear elastic. Then mess up the braid by pulling it apart from the middle so it looks thicker and messier.Step Seven: Wrap the braid around the base of your pony tail to create a bun. Secure with the pins. Spritz with hair spray and you’re done! Enjoy the summer heat without looking like a hot mess with sweaty hair sticking to your neck (my worst nightmare).
